Immediate opening for full time persons to join our manufacturing production department. Flame offers to eligible employees; medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, paid holidays, PTO and a matching 401k.

Flame Metals is a commercial Heat Treater in Rogers, MN. We are currently looking for shop helpers on both our day (9am-9pm) and night (9pm-9am) shifts. They work 3 twelve hour shifts one week and 4 the next, with a long weekend (Fri, Sat & Sun) off every other weekend.

JOB DUTIES

Takes customer parts out of their containers and places them in racks, baskets or on to a belt.
Remove parts from fixturing racks or baskets.
Cleans and or polishes parts, as needed, using lathes, sandblasters, wheelabrator, or other polishing/cleaning devices.
Packs and unpacks parts to and from customer’s container(s).
Moves parts throughout the shop by use of forklifts, hoists, motorized hand carts or carts.
Paints parts if required.
Gauge parts if required.
Oil parts as needed.
Keeps work area clean.
Complete paperwork as needed.
Attend required training sessions.
Follow safety regulations

EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS

Stand in place for periods of time
Lift, squat, bend, carry parts and reach on a daily basis
Communicate with co-workers and supervisors
Forklift experience helpful
Manufacturing experience helpful

Starting wage range: $20 – $22/hour
